In conjunction with the Northeast Montana Feather Fest, ArtSpot, Northeast Montana's nonprofit arts organization, is sponsoring a bird themed exhibition. Artwork will be on display at the ArtSpot Gallery, located inside Flicks, in downtown Glasgow from May 29th through June 26th. Two dimensional original artwork in all media with a bird theme will be on display. Artists who will be participating in the exhibit are Jonnie Buerman, Chuck Carlson, John Carlson, Leith DeWeese, Andrew Guttenberg, Barb Hansen, Sean R. Heavey, Doris LaGree, Carmen Luna, Judy Micheals, Carrie Nicol, Carol Robbins, and Rebecca Smith.
The opening night reception will take place on Friday, June 3rd from 4-7pm. The event is free and refreshments will be provided. There will be a $100 people's choice prize awarded to the piece of 2- D work with the most votes. Come celebrate our birds, art and northeastern Montana. The reception at ArtSpot in Flicks goes from 4-7pm and features local artwork by Pat Fauth, Suzzii Brenna, Barbara Hansen, Jason Schakosky and Walt Thorn. The artwork encompasses themes from nature, still life, abstract and decorative art.
